SUNDAY CLUB

Children aren't just the future of the church, they are the present too! At St Peter's, we are committed to nurturing the faith of each child in our care. Because of this, we have a growing Children's (and Youth) ministry aimed at provided age-appropriate teaching for those who attend our groups.

We want them to have fun and make friends, but most importantly, we want them to get to know Jesus and his word. Below are some of the different groups and activities we have run and continue to run at St Peter's.

Sunday Club runs most Sundays during the 11am service at St Peter's. It is for children aged 4-9 and is run by a team of volunteers. At the moment, we are using a teaching series called 'CLICK' by The Good Book Company.

Toast Church is our monthly children's 'service' for 0-8 year olds. It includes puppets, songs, a bible story, creative prayer times and of course, Toast! This is on the 4th Sunday of each month at 9:30-10am

Over the years we have run a number of holiday clubs for children in our church and the wider community. During these events, there has been a chance to look more closely at a particular story or theme in the Bible. We hope to run more in the future!

A lot of the work we do is around building relationships with those around us. The work we do in the local primary school is one of the foundation blocks and a first point of contact between the children and the church.

All of our volunteers have been recruited in accordance to our 'Safer Recruitment Policy' and have completed the appropriate level of Safeguarding Training as well as DBS checks.
